Snowmobile Safari
Riding a snowmobile is probably something you have never done before and it's a truely awesome experience! Anybody with a normal drivers license can do it, after getting some basic instructions.
There are hundreds of kilometers of prepared snowmobile tracks in and around Levi that you can use and that can bring you to a range of places worth visiting.
You basically have two options: 1- to join an organised excursion with a guide, or 2- to rent some snowmobiles and venture out on your own.
At the rental place, you will be provided with gear to protect you from the arctic cold: full thermo-suit, boots, gloves, a balaclava and a helmet. If you are going to explore the Lappish
wilderness on your own, you will receive a map of the tracks and a GPS-tracker, just in case.
Places that you can visit by snowmobile are for example: the SnowVillage ice hotel, Sammuntupa reindeer farm, Tuikku restaurant on top of the mountain, Luvattumaa restaurant, Hanhipirtti café or painter Reijo
